TMNT Print WIP Update 3

Inks finished!! The next stage is colors obviously. Hopefully my ADD doesn't kick into gear and inspire me to start another piece before this one is done. I have a bad habit of doing that... you'll see. Anyway, latest progress update on the ninja turtles print. Check it =]

Once again, all done using Manga Studio 5 EX and a Yiynova 19" Tablet.

Two more turtles to ink and then I can get started on those colors. I took Friday night off and I wasn't even home on Saturday so drawing Michaelangelo in the corner and inking Raph and Don up front is all progress from this evening. Hopefully I'll have time to get more of it done tomorrow after work. I'll update more then.

Ok, last update of the evening for my Ninja Turtles print.

One more turtle to go and then I can get started on the inks! Can't wait to see it colored up and everything.

So.. I'm blogging now

I'm planning on uploading a few select pieces from my portfolio on here. A few sketches but mostly completed works that I've sold as prints in the past. For now I thought I'd update with a WIP pic. I'm working on a TMNT poster/print when I have the time to. Work and family monopolize quite a bit of time. Anyway, here's a look at what I have this far. I'm not sure how many hours have gone into it thus far, but it's been two days worth of free time thrown into it.

Manga Studio 5 EX on a Yiynova 19" Tablet/Monitor. Really nice, cost effective alternative to a Wacom Cintiq. I may need to play around with the brightness/contrast settings on it because it looks much darker on that screen than it does on your standard HD monitor. Food for thought I guess.
